Wikipedia will have access to SMS services

San Francisco - Wikipedia will have access to SMS services to make it easier obtain information for some people who are not familiar with internet and do not have a Smartphone. Really?

SMS Access Service

Wikipedia has long been 'forced' to add services to their common knowledge to most cell phone users are not familiar with internet and do not have a Smartphone.
For help on the 'Knight News Challenge' program and a foundation in South Africa, a non-profit Wikipedia Zero will offer content Wikipedia in form SMS and USSD in the coming months.

Cell phone users who want to learn something via Wikipedia will be able to send SMS to get the article in response to the answers, without the need for an internet connection at the site at all. Quoted from Engadget

This is a step forward and noble to extend useful information for those who may not have a Smartphone and are not familiar with internet. But not yet officially presented whether Wikipedia will also offer access to SMS services in other countries.

It's questionable if an explanation is how the article was it too long, it can be imagined how long the content will receive the SMS phone users.
